M.O.X. Quest question - Guild Wars Forums

Hi all, I'm back playing GW after a 4 year hiatus and trying to get back into swing of things. I have the M.O.X. quest that I'm doing for my elementalist. I beat POX and ROX pretty easily and now off to do NOX; however, I seem to have only gotten up to Sunspear Sanctuary in Nightfall for my elementalist. Is there a straight run up to Bokka Amphitheater? I seem to vaguely recall having to beat a mission or something to get to the northern Elona areas though.

Any suggestions or information would be appreciated. I'm not overly interested in going through a bunch of the campaign just to get access to Bokka, but if that's what it takes then I guess I'll have to.

There are people who can run from there to Vabbi I believe, but I never figured out how they did it (I got all mine there using the wurm trick before they nerfed it).

There are (or were) people offering this run in the services portion of Guru.

Otherwise, you pretty much have to follow the story line and finish either Poghan Passage or Rihlon Refuge to get to Moddock Crevice missions to gain access to Vabbi. Once you have that you can easily run to the quest area. If you have the Sanctuary, I'd say you were about 4 missions and about 8 quests away. Most of them aren't very hard if you have enough experience playing and you can get to Vabbi in about 4 to 6 hours of play easily. Much less if you know what you're doing and where to go.

NightFall is not meant to be runned and it's good.
If you do it for the 1st time, rushing would be madness.
If you do it on another toon and get used to the game, you can do the whole campaign in a day.

But if you still want a run to N.O.X, you can hire a runner from Sunspear Sanctuary through Gates of Desolation and Basalt Grotto to Vabbi.

Thanks for the info you guys. I have 9 characters, but only one I took completely through Nightfall was my Paragon. I'd always played out the campaign fully at least with the first character through. Afterwards, I either went through it or got runs with subsequent characters.

Been so long since I've played I guess I forgot how fun GW was. Looking forward to GW2 when that's released.
